Then in what, the next minute? (of OT)- Dupers scored to win the game. Thanks to a fucking amateur mistake by Thomas who left the net to get the puck. Whoops, Staalsie was there to slap that over to Pascal!
THIS is exactly why hockey is the only sport I like. THIS is why i hate on all those fucks that leave a game early. They missed this shit!!
This game had unreal excitement. The entire arena was freaking the fuck out as if it were the Cup Finals. There were some intense ongoing waves like I had never seen after Eaton (i think) got everyone the free Big Macs during the Mac Attack!
The whole place knew that we werent going out like that. That we had to put a stop to this bullshit losing streak and shove this game up the Bruins well-dressed asses.
Im not saying this just because it was a high-scoring game, but Johnson really didnt look like he knew where the puck was half the time. I realize that Thomas gave up more goals, but I was just a little mystified by Johnson's performance tonight.
Ahhh I cant go on but I just love a game where you are double hi-fiving all the strangers around you and hugging the fuck out of your friend in disbelief. Amazing game, boys. Truly amazing.
